Catherine’s last book, VITAMANIA: How Vitamins Revolutionized the Way We Think About Food was published in February 2015 and is a lively look at the history of vitamins and supplements, as well as an investigation into the future of the food, from phytochemicals to epigenetics.Ĭatherine’s newest book, HOW TO BREAK UP WITH YOUR PHONE, is coming out February 13th, 2018 from Ten Speed Press. I personally liked this book Vitamania, because I inherently believe in what Catherine Price is trying to convey. She achieves this with her extensive research into the history of Vitamins, use of Vitamins, marketing of supplements and regulations that apply to them. Impressively researched, counterintuitive. Author Catherine Price brings out certain facts many of which are shocking. Catherine Price is an award-winning journalist, who has written extensively in publications including The Best American Science Writing, The New York Times, Popular Science, O, The Oprah Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Washington Post Magazine, Parade, Salon, Slate, Men’s Journal, Self, Mother Jones, Health Magazine, and Outside, among others. In so doing, Vitamania both demolishes many of our societysmost cherished myths about nutrition and challenges us to reevaluate our ownbeliefs.
